Cummins Filtration has released a new loftier performance Fleetguard® FS²: Filter-in-Filter technology for the Dodge Ram trucks withthe six.7L Cummins turbo diesel engines. The new FS43257 filter assembly is an upgrade for the '07 – '09 Dodge Ram which provides the filtration performance of 2 filters in a single, reusable filter canister.

The FSⁱⁱ: Filter-in-Filter Fuel Organization Protection product provides optimally designed filter media in a unique construction to reach:

• Unmatched gratuitous and emulsified fuel/water separation – Ensuring greater protection from water-related corrosion for modern high pressure level fuel systems.

• 2-phase particle removal - 5* micron filtration rating - for infrequent fuel system protection without the hassle of extra filters and fuel plumbing arrangements.

• Customer-requested optimal fuel organization protection in a design that allows reuse of the filter canister and replacement of just the filter cartridge at service time.

Cummins and Chrysler began applying this loftier-performance filter to all new engines and trucks effective January 2009. All owners of 2007 – 2009 Contrivance Ram trucks with a six.7L Cummins turbo diesel engine can use the new filter without the need for additional plumbing or hardware.

The FS43257 Filter-in-Filter is a straight fit replacement for the original FS43252 unmarried-phase filter.

To minimize the waste stream associated with fuel filter changes, only the internal filter cartridge and canister O-band (kit office# FS43258) must exist changed during service - the tough composite filter canister plus the water-in-fuel (WIF) sensor and the filter bleed valve can be reused over and over.**
